The Santa Clara Police Activities League is a nonprofit, community-based sports, activities, health and
community-services organization committed to helping young people achieve their full potential. The Santa Clara Police Activities League’s doors are open to people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes.
To the Parent/Guardian/Registrant:
The Santa Clara Police Activities League FAN program provides for financial assistance to families
experiencing financial hardship. The amount of financial assistance is determined by a sliding fee scale.
Each request is reviewed and decided upon on an individual basis. In order to foster a sense of ownership in PAL, you may be asked to pay some portion of the fees. In some situations, you may be asked to commit to some volunteer hours.
The funds available for Santa Clara Police Activities League FAN are made possible through fees generated by PAL members and participants, community donors and the annual support campaign of the Santa Clara PAL.
In order to provide financial assistance in a fair and consistent manner, the Santa Clara Police Activities
League requires that individuals provide the requested information on the form that follows regarding
income, family size, and expenses.
All personal information will be kept confidential. Then Santa Clara Police Activities League may review assistance eligibility after a six-month period; you may be required to reapply and/or your fees may be subject to change. If you do not reapply when requested, your financial assistance will be terminated.
